I just like this picture so I thought I'd post it. We were taking current pictures of their growing hair and I really like this one. I actually love their hair long when they let us do the combing. ;)

I'm tired

Udine has been out of town since Sunday for business and I'm so ready to have him back home!! It actually hasn't been nearly as bad as I had anticipated, but we are all missing him, and I'm just plain exhausted. It could be due to the fact that I went to the mall with all four kids thinking I'd actually be able to get done what I wanted. Ha! What was I thinking! The two little ones were out of control, I got nothing done and it just wore me out! Anyway, today Alessandro has said at least five time "I can't wait for tomorrow!" (Because Udine comes home). Yes, I think we are all feeling that. Udine brings so much to this family and we really miss it when he's not here. He rarely travels alone, so this has been a new experience for us, hopefully one we won't have to get used to. I miss the adult interaction, and I think we all miss the laughter he brings. Tomorrow can't come soon enough!!

Garden

On Memorial Day we planted our garden. I hope it works this year! We're kind of hit and miss with this kind of thing. This year we planted pumpkins, canteloupe, watermelons, tomatoes, cucumbers, zuchini and squash. My favorite is the canteloupe. Two years ago we produced so much if it the kids got sick of it, last year they didn't do so well. So I'm hoping we are more successful this year! We shall see.

Out of Control

For a while I was really liking the boys hair a little longer. I thought it looked nice and it has gotten them to shower every day. :) But, it is getting out of control now! Good thing the world cup is starting soon!! I know it will only be another month (maybe a tad bit longer in hopes that Udine's team will make it all the way) :) Yesterday I had them comb their hair by themselves and this is what they did. They thought they were so clever. Whatever, I don't even care anymore. Although, I will admit I was happy they went biking shortly after this and tamed the craziness just a bit because of their helmets. I actually think Alessandro's hair looks pretty good longer, it has a little curl to it and isn't super thick. (obviously not loving it the way it is in this picture, but that's ok) Diego's hair is way too thick and straight to be as long as it is. I should get a picture of Udine. I love it longer especially when he wears a hat and it hangs out....I like that look. His hair is curly also, so it looks nice long. But, it is starting to get on the verge of too long. :) I need to get an updated picture of Udine and post it. His is the longest.
