Tarzan

Last weekend Udine, Diego, Alessandro and I went to St. George to see Tarzan.  We left Fri afternoon and came back Saturday so it was a quick trip but it was great!  When we got there the boys wanted to go swimming.  The weather was great for that and the pool water was warm so I didn't even mind going in.  We timed eachother to see who could hold their breath the longest, who could swim across the pool and stay at the bottom while doing it, chicken fights, it was fun.  Then we went to the Tuacahn amphitheatre to see Tarzan.  It was pretty amazing.  The theatre itself is pretty impressive.  It was neat to be able to look up into the sky and see shooting stars!!  It was a great show.  It did get a little long in the second half, but overall it was great.  The boys really enjoyed it as did we.  I think we will definitely go back another year.  Here are some pictures we took after the show.

Brothers

Yesterday I had the chance to go out to eat with my four older brothers.  It was just so great.  I honestly don't remember the last time I was with just them.  As I was sitting at the table looking around I just felt so special...there I was with my big brothers.  They are the best brothers anyone could ever ask for.  They have always looked out for me and taken care of me.  I have always loved having so many older brothers.  And yesterday as I looked from one to the next it just made me happy.  It's a reminder to me that there is really nothing more important and nothing better than family.  And I feel so blessed and lucky to have such special relationships with my siblings.   Then as I thought of my own family I felt so happy that Mia has three older brothers and I just hope and pray that they take care of her like my brothers have always taken care of me.  It was a good day.

Simple pleasures

Mia was so cute eating away at this cookie dough beater.  My camera ran out of batteries so I couldn't get a picture of her smashing her face against it to try and get as much as she possibly could.  I remember loving it when my mom gave me the beater to lick off.  :)

BYU Fall Kickoff

I'm trying to catch up on my blogging....At the end of August we went to the BYU fall kickoff.  We had no idea what to expect, but the kids ended up having a lot of fun.  These are some of the things they did while there.
RACES

AUTOGRAPHS

Udine made the boys get an autograph from the cheerleaders.  hahaha  Diego's face says it all.  They enjoyed getting them from the football players though!

CHEERLEADERS

The cheerleaders were lifting girls and taking pictures with them.  Mia couldn't keep her eyes off them so we had her do a lift.  She loved it, but when she realized how high she was she got a little nervous.  :)

BALLOONS

Mia's started out as a sword but ended up in a hat which she liked a lot more.

HELMETS

And who doesn't want a picture with the football helmet on?  :)

Bridal Veil Falls

We biked to this waterfall in the provo canyon.  It was a great ride and a lot of fun.  Alessandro rode his little heart out!!  You could tell when it would get difficult for him going up hill but then once he reached the top he'd have so much fun going down.  It was fun to ride behind him and listen to all his comments.  Diego stayed ahead with Udine.  He's a go getter!!  And the younger two didn't enjoy the way up as much as they enjoyed the way down.  Apparently I was too slow going up.  :)  Anyway, here are some pictures once we got there.

After taking this picture I tried moving Mia a little closer to Alessandro but she got angry that I picked her up to move her and this is what she did for the next picture.  What a little stink!!!
