One night we heard Alessandro coming down the stairs giggling (mind you it was well past bed time and we thought he was asleep), so we were about to get angry with him when he appears looking like this. I tried really hard not to laugh, but I just couldn't help it. These pictures don't do it justice but he just looked so funny with who knows what stuffed in his PJ's. (He was so proud of himself. He missed the memo that mom and dad wanted him to be asleep). ;) He really did look funny walking around with the big booty and all the other extra "weight". Oh what to do.

Real Salt Lake
Back in April Udine got to take Diego to an RSL game. They had a blast. They got there early for pregame fun and the game was a great one to watch. RSL pulled it off in the last seconds to win! They came home blasting the stereo to the RSL song and singing along. Good times.

Arrow of LIght
Diego worked hard and completed all of his requirements to receive his Arrow of Light award. We are proud of him!!
Our camera ran out of batteries right when they gave him his plaque with the arrow, but you can see it in the background of this one. It's really nice.

Spring Break
Spring break seems so long ago that I'm having a hard time remembering all that went on!! :( We took our usual trip to St. George which was a blast!! A little different this year since weather didn't really cooperate, but still a lot of fun. We shared a condo with Ben and Jana's family and when we were there Diego said "Wow, all those babies are loud." hahaha I think he meant Rose. But I just responded with "Yeah, babies are loud and take up a lot of time. And you say you want another little brother!!?" To which he replied "Yes I do! That would be awesome!! I like it loud." :) He and his dad are on the same boat with this one. hahaha Anyway....
We left on Wed and just hung out at the condo playing racquetball, mini golf, basketball. Nothing huge, but just enough to make the kids happy and not tire us out too much after traveling all morning. :)
On Thurs we went to the lake, but I thought it was so cold!! I wore all of my clothes over my suit. Mia lasted maybe 15 min and then sat on my lap the rest of the time. Luca had fun in the sand and the older boys did as well. The older boys and their cousins were crazy and immersed themselves in the freezing lake. Crazy kids.
On Friday we went to a park all day and the kids played on the playground, roamed around the rocks finding forts and all kinds of fun things to do, baseball, soccer and flying Ben's awesome kite. We ended up being there a lot longer than we had anticipated, so I guess that means all had a great time. :)
I can't for the life of me remember Saturday. Maybe that's the day the kids decided to swim even though it was not warm at all. What would spring break be without swimming. ;) And probably played on the playground at the condo. I honestly don't know. (That's why I hate not blogging about it right away!!)

Peter helping Diego fly the kite. I think Diego would have blown away with it, had Peter not been there. :)

Productive
Wow. We have not had this productive of a Saturday in ages!! It felt so good! This was our first Saturday not filled with soccer games, so we actually got work done around the house! whoohoo!! Our yard looks a lot nicer! :) I don't want every Saturday to be this busy with work, but it sure did feel good to get it done!! Well, maybe not done, but a lot was accomplished. Yeah!

Easter Fun
Easter seems like ages ago, but I never blogged about it. It was a wonderful day. We woke up and found baskets, went to church and after church went to my parents house for a yummy dinner and a fun easter egg hunt for the kids. The kids had a blast and got way too much candy. :) It was a great day
Poor Diego had a ton of eggs hidden in these pointy bushes so it scratched him all up. His arm wasn't quite long enough to grab it without having to get his face all in it. hahaha

Decorating Eggs
After all the kids went to bed we found an "Easter basket" made out of a cup that was colored on and labeled as Pickles Easter Basket. hahaha Luckily the Easter Bunny had some hot dogs on hand and that's what was found in her basket the next morning. :)

Beautiful days
The weather has been so mild this year, the kids have been able to play outside a lot. I love it. I snapped some pictures of cousins while they were here playing with the boys one day. Really nothing to tell, I just laugh every time I look at them so I want to post. I'm so glad we live really close to family because my kids cousins are truly their best friends and I wouldn't want it any other way. I hope it stays that way through out the rest of their lives!!

Mia and Luca getting in on the silliness. Mia always hams it up for the camera. :) They would pick to play with cousins every day also, but if they can't, they are great to play with each other and are great little buddies. Something I am also very grateful for. I'm so glad my kids enjoy each other and are really good friends.

April Fools
Wow, I am really going back far with needing to catch up!! A few years ago we did some food pranks on the kids for April Fools day along with other silly pranks Udine came up with. Ever since, they expect some silliness for the day, so we can't disappoint!! (In hind sight, I kind of wish we never started because now there is the expectation and I feel like I'm doing it because I have to. But with that said, we do always have a good time....it's just a lot of extra unnecessary work.) :)
They started off the day with food coloring in the bottom of their cereal bowl so when milk was poured in it turned blue. Mia was NOT happy about this.
"Grilled cheese" (pound cake toasted with orange frosting inside) and oranges. Again, Mia was NOT happy about this.
Jello for juice so it wouldn't come out as they tipped the cup. This was by far the best one and Mia even liked it. :) The older boys knew what was going on after trying to get one sip, but Luca and Mia kept trying and trying to get it. It was hilarious to watch.
At every meal we had tears from Mia. She did not like the pranks. hahaha

slow poke
Luca cracked me up last night. We were racing Udine and the older boys home from a soccer game and we got caught behind a slow driver so I said something to the affect "Oh man, we have a slow poke in front of us". Luca liked the new word he learned and kept talking about the slow poke, but when another lane opened up and a car passed us he said "Hey look! There's a fast poke!" hahaha I couldn't stop laughing. I love the minds of children.
On a completely different note, my computer died so I have nothing on it right now which means I can't get caught up on my last month of blogging! Boo! All my pictures are gone! But luckily we are backed up with Mozy, so I just need to wait until we download it back on. Thank goodness for Mozy!! Or I would be one unhappy camper right now!!!
