Seriously!?

Today I had this radio station on for "toddler songs"....Luca, Mia and I were dancing to it when the song "Great Big Poop" came on.  Seriously!?  That is actually a song!?  The last thing I want to listen to is a song about poop!  I'm soo glad my older boys were not home to hear it because I know they would be singing it, because lets be honest, anything to do with bathrooms, bums, burps, passing gas.... it's just hilarious to them.  Gross....even the title makes me cringe, come on people!!  Why write a song about that!!  Anyway....that was my strange happening for the day.

Yoga girls

Jana and I have been doing this work out video a couple times a week so the kids always see us do it.  One day after we finished we just sat around talking and what not.  When we checked on the kids in the next room the girls were doing their exercises while eating strawberries.  It was really funny to watch.  They'd do a leg lift or some other movement, then roll over and grab some food.  Then repeat....a movement, then roll over and eat.  hahahaha  (No, Jana and I do not roll over and eat after doing the video, but I can't blame them!!  this looks much more enjoyable!!)  :)

Baptism

Alessandro got baptized with his cousin, Caitlin, on March 5th.  It was a great day.  The three days before, Alessandro had a fever so we weren't sure what was going to happen on Saturday.  Those three days he kept asking if he could get baptized if he was sick.  Alessandro is such a quiet guy and hides his feelings and emotions most of the time, so I had a hard time figuring out how he was feeling about his baptism...if he was excited, if he really wanted to or was just doing it just because, etc.  But those three days showed me how excited he was and how he really wanted to do it.  He was constantly asking about it and very worried it wouldn't happen.  Which, in all honesty, I was really happy to see and hear because I don't want him to just go through the motions, I want him to have his own testimony and know for himself this is what he wants.  Saturday morning he woke up with no fever and when I asked him how he felt he responded with "Great!  I don't feel sick at all!!"  Which I'm sure was stretching the truth because I think he was a bit worn out still, but he was determined to go forward with his special day.  It was so nice to have so much family there and to be able to do it with Caitlin.  I think Diego was just as excited for Alessandro to get baptized as he was when he got baptized.  Diego is just the opposite and shows his emotions very openly and he was just thrilled for his little brother.  He kept telling Alessandro how happy he was and that it was so great to get baptized, and that he couldn't wait for him to be baptized also.  Too cute....I love that guy.  I know I don't say it very often or near enough as I should, but I hope that my children know, that I know our Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us.  He wants us to be happy and will help us in our lives when we seek His help.  I know Jesus Christ died for us so we can repent of our sins and return to Him someday and to also live together forever as a family.  I know our Heavenly Father listens to and answers our prayers, even if it may not be the answer we are looking for.  He knows us better than we know ourselves.  I know if we are making good choices we will be happy, not that we won't have trials, but we can be happy if we are always looking to the Lord.  I hope and pray my children will continue on the path that they have started and keep making wise choices in their lives.

Ice Castles

On one of our date nights Udine and I went to Midway to walk through these cool ice castles.  It was pretty amazing to see.  We ended the night with some yummy Mexican food from a nice little restaurant nearby...I forgot the name, but it was really good!!  :)

Sick

Apparently this is what you do when you're sick in bed all day.  How many silly bands can you fit on your arm?  :)

Cute Faces

I just want to kiss her chubby little cheeks... she's too cute.  (I know I'm bias, but I just thought she looked so cute here watching a little video to the song of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"; one of her favorite songs).   I'm posting a bunch of these pictures for my benefit....I wish I could just freeze time sometimes so I can cherish these little ones a little longer before they get too big.  :)

Awww, it's over!!!
Yeah!  It's back on!!
Awww, it's over again!!
Love this girl!!!
